Editorial Board Member Responsibilities
An Editorial Board Member plays an active role in supporting the journal’s academic quality, editorial development, and peer-review process.
The responsibilities of an Editorial Board Member include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Collaborating with the Editor-in-Chief and other Editorial Board members to shape the journal’s editorial vision, policies, and best practices;
- Providing subject-matter expertise, advisory input, and manuscript assessment support to the editorial team;
- Promoting the journal within the academic community and encouraging high-quality manuscript submissions;
- Contributing or soliciting high-quality manuscripts on a regular basis;
- Assisting editors in identifying and recommending qualified peer reviewers;
- Conducting initial assessments of submitted manuscripts within their area of expertise and advising whether submissions should proceed to peer review.
The initial appointment term for an Editorial Board Member is one year and may be renewed upon mutual agreement. An Editorial Board Member may resign from the position at any time if they are unable to continue fulfilling their responsibilities.
